After they got married in 2021, Eva joined Caleb on Global Year staff and are both serving as field directors for our program in Italy.
Stephen + Caroline Owings
Discipleship & Mobilization
Stephen is married to Caroline and together they have one son Ezra. Stephen and Caroline were set up by their best friends while living in New York City in 2017. They got married two years later in 2019. Stephen has felt called to be in full-time ministry since a young age and followed that call into Newspring College in 2014, where he learned hands-on ministry experience with youth, leadership development, theology, and discipleship. He knows he has been called to pastor young people, introduce them to Christ, and assist them in growing in their faith journey with Jesus. Before his time at Newspring College, he went on two different short-term mission trips to Kenya, Africa spreading the Gospel and helping build schools for the Nanyuki community. Stephen has a heart to disciple young people in following Jesus for a lifetime, not just a moment in their life. He works with our students as a Go coach (discipling students to be prepared for their gap year) and mobilization, where he serves pastors and leaders of young people to present the global year opportunity and challenge young people to go to the nations!
